• RSS Feeds RSS Feeds are an easy way for your students, parents, and other community members to be kept up-to-date about your site's content.   With the click of a button, any visitor can subscribe to an app's content and automatically be notified whenever new content is added.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and it's a web-wide tool that lets people subscribe to a website's content.  Through an application called an 'aggregator', a person can sign up to receive an RSS 'feed'.  Whenever new content is added to the website, the feed automatically sends out a notification to all subscribers.
You can activate RSS Feeds for the following apps:
    • Announcements
    • Article Library
    • Blog
    • File Library
    • Flex Editor
    • Headlines & Features
    • Link Library
    • Podcast
    • Maps & Directions
    • Assignments
    • Calendar
    • Alumni Directory (Beta)
    • Book List (Beta)
    • Discussion (Beta)
    • Idea Board (Beta)

In order for RSS Feeds to be activated, they need to be allowed in the main Site Settings.  If you don't see the RSS feed option for one of the apps listed above, get in contact with your Site Administrator.
